Step 1: Sign up for 1U, 2U, 3U or 4U Server Colcoation Here.  1U, 2U, 3U, and 4U depends on the height of the server.  For Example a Dell PowerEdge R710 is a 2U server.  Include your Reverse DNS (PTR Record) in the order if possible.

Step 2: Upon Payment you will receive a welcome e-mail with the 4 Dedicated IP addresses, and all necessary DNS, Gateway/Subnet Information.

Step 3: Configure your server and application with the required Network Settings, Pack You Server in a Secure Cardboard Shipping Container and Ship to:

Send a Support ticket to RackWire.com with the Tracking Number.  Once the Server arrives at our Facility, it will be racked immediately.

What do I need to Ship with My Server?

Please send us the Power Cables and Required Rails.  Any other information such as Manuals and Extra parts will not be stored By RackWire.  You can include in the Packaging a Return Airbill if you would like the box shipped back.

Does RackWire.com upgrade or Maintain My Server?

No, the server is usually locked down by the client and remotely administered and updated.  Should the Server Need Physical Care, such as Rebooting, Plugging in another Network Cable or Replacing a Drive, RackWire’s Staff can assist as needed.

Can I get a tour of the facility first?

Can I bring my Server in if I am in the Rocheser, NY area?

Yes, we have a build with Monitors and Keyboards where you can prep the server.  The RackWire.com Datacenter Team will then rack the server for you Free of charge!
