You already own your own domain, and it is hosted somewhere other than RackWire.com or even internally.  If want to get a WordPress blog added to your site, i.e. a blog at www.YourDomain.com, here are the steps.

Step 1: Go to the App Market and sign up for a WordPress Account, by clicking “Try It Now”.

Step 2: Under Domain Options, choose “I will update my nameservers on an existing domain”.  Type in your current domain name.

Step 3: Update your DNS servers to have a new entry A record called “blog” and point it to the IP address: 67.219.60.126.  Once this propagates, you should be able to go to the custom installer located at http://yourDomain.com/wp-admin/install.php.

Step 4: Once you add this record, you can point the name servers for your domain to the rackwire name servers located at:

• dns1.rackwire.com
• dns2.rackwire.com

Step 5: You are now ready to start blogging.
