How To Backup Photos Online with BackupSpace

I am an amateur Photographer by day.  I use my Nikon D40 Digital SLR to take pictures everywhere I go.  My favorites as of lately are all the wide angle landscape shots with my new Fisheye Lens.  I back my photos up to a Personal Hard drive.  My Personal Hard drive was one a victim to theft recently, so now I am using BackupSpace.com Online Backup for my Photos.  Here is my Review of BackupSpace.com Backup Agent:

Step  1:  I have decided to backup all my Photos, from the looks of it I have around 16 GB of total Photos.  So I select my entire Photos Directory to Backup Online, and set a schedule up to perform the task nightly.

Step 2:  I start the backup Process at night before bed, it takes almost an entire night/day to upload all my photos to the Offsite Storage.

Step 3: One feature I like over Mozy and Carbonite are the fact I get detailed e-mail updates when my backups run, and how many new pictures were created/changed/backed up.  There is also version control in the advanced settings that keeps separate versions of the files after I modify the photos in Photoshop.

I am happy with the product overall, and after the first initial upload, the backups are fast and automated.  I get the e-mail daily reminding me I need to take more photos to backup!  The e-mail settings took me a couple tries to get working right.  Here is a Backup Screenshot I took….not using my SLR!
